FAQs

How do I become a new patient?

Request an appointment through the patient portal. Complete your intake questionnaire, sign the practice policy consent, and add a card on file. Your appointment is confirmed once all paperwork is submitted.

Do you accept children and adolescents?

Unfortunately, at this time I do not treat children or adolescents. Care is currently provided to adults age 18 and older.

If you are an established patient with a child or family member seeking psychiatric care, I am happy to provide referrals to trusted pediatric and adolescent psychiatric providers upon request.

Care for younger patients may be added in the future as the practice grows, but is not available at this time.

Do you accept insurance?

You Belong IMW is currently a cash-pay practice. Most major insurances are pending credentialing and will be accepted in the future. Superbills are available on request for potential out-of-network reimbursement in the meantime.

What are your fees?

Standard Intake $300 · Complex/Overlapping Intake $400 · Medication Management $175 · Extended Follow-Up $200.

Cancellation policy?

Yes — therapy is offered on a case-by-case basis when it's clinically appropriate. Additional therapy time is capped at 20 minutes and billed as a flat $75 add-on when needed, because it is a distinct clinical service. Charges are never added just to charge — only when the care genuinely calls for it.

I can provide supportive therapy, CBT, interpersonal therapy, and psychoeducation within sessions when fitting. However, the depth a dedicated therapist offers is not something I can fully replicate, and I highly recommend pairing medication management with regular therapy when appropriate. Referrals available upon request.

48 hour notice is required to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellation and no-show fees apply: $175 for intake appointments and $100 for medication management visits. Each patient receives one courtesy waiver. Fees are charged to the card on file.

Do you provide therapy?

You Belong IMW is not a crisis service. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please call 911 or text 988, or go to your nearest Emergency Room.

All fees are flat-rate and due at time of service. Fees are reviewed yearly in January. Patients will be notified in writing of any fee changes at least 60 days in advance.
